Keep funding the BBC World Service and maintain the UK’s soft power.

Petition Details

Whilst Russia and China increase funding in their soft power via radio, it seems crazy in this uncertain world to withdraw from having influence. Why hand them propaganda advantages? English is the international language, the BBC is trusted for accurate news coverage & the BBC WS is much respected.

Additional Information

I want them to reinstate the funding that runs out in a few weeks and to reinstate Foreign Office support to a decent level. It seems we are preparing for war within the next few years why give up a huge propaganda asset?
