Fix and resurface North Northants roads now, with urgent repairs accountability
Require North Northants Council to publish a fully funded, time-bound road repair plan, prioritise dangerous potholes, respond within strict deadlines, and speed up compensation for vehicle damage caused by neglected highways.
Roads across North Northants are riddled with deep potholes, causing punctures, bent alloys, suspension damage and danger to human lives. Residents report faults repeatedly, yet repairs are delayed or temporary. This is unsafe for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. Public funds are being wasted on patch jobs instead of proper resurfacing. Stronger oversight and funding transparency are urgently needed to protect road users and hold the council accountable.
