Review effectiveness of measures to keep phones and drones out of prisons

Petition Details

Reviews laws around technology and legality of use to 'jam' phones and drones in prisons. We want the Government to pull their finger out!

Additional Information

Mobile phones are one of the biggest drivers of crime inside custody enabling drug trafficking, intimidation, organised crime links and victim harassment. Many are being smuggled in by drones. These drones not only bring in mobile phones, but drugs, weapons and many more illicit items. We want the Government to review existing laws around how jamming technology can be used, and how phones and drones can be kept out of prisons more effectively.
