Petition Action

Ban AI usage in education by teachers and students

Petition Details

To impose a consequence or discouragement for teachers who are using AI to educate, provide feedback and mark students work. Encourage educational lessons on the harms behind AI and when it should be used. Give records to students who are found to be repeatedly using it in their education.

Additional Information

Many teachers across educational institutions are using AI to mark, provide feedback and teach students. We believe this entirely unsettles the system behind education that promotes students to do better and prepare them for work from someone who knows them personally and what would aid their work. Similarly I find many schools and colleges to be using AI imagery to promote their institution. This is a clear missed opportunity as many have groups of fine art students who need work experience.
