Improve accountability and transparency in how serious concerns are handled
We ask the UK Government to review and strengthen independent accountability and transparency so people can trust that serious concerns are handled properly, fairly and consistently for everyone, while respecting due process and the independence of the courts.
Many people simply want to know that serious concerns are taken seriously and handled without bias. Clearer independent checks and more transparent processes could help build trust and confidence that everyone is treated equally, regardless of status, wealth, or influence. This is not about targeting individuals or politics, but about fairness, honest accountability and restoring trust in how serious concerns are handled.
