Require curfews and scrolling breaks on social media for under 16s, don't ban it

Petition Details

I strongly encourage to add curfews to social media for under 16s & scrolling breaks. This could prevent doom scrolling and boost productivity. I firmly believe this is far better than a ban as social media helps people to explore different perspectives, learn hobbies, know how to revise & much more

Additional Information

Many use social media to learn, discover movies, books, artworks, music, how to do this, how to do that, learning about things people are too shy to ask in person. Social media is a way for people to express themselves & communicate, many under 16s use it to know others relate to their situation, once they know they aren’t alone it helps them to ask for support. That’s why I believe the ban could have detrimental effects.
