Ban social media for under 13s rather than under 16s
Rather than banning social media for under 16s it could be better for under 13s. as this is what apps like tiktok have as there age rating at the moment and social media is used for many as a way to communicate expecialy the teens that my not have a phone number but have a laptop or other device's.
This is what we want as 13 is what apps like tiktok have as there age rating at the moment and social media is used for many as a way to communicate expecialy the teens that may not have a phone number but have a laptop or other device's. Social media can also help teens feel understood and part of something if you take that away for the teens that are used to social media that may not be good at socializing in person they could become extremely lonely. Please condsider this as another option.
