Petition Action

Ban Hunts hounds & hunt members from bridleways & footpaths through private land

Petition Details

Ban any Hunts, Hunt members on horseback or foot and their packs of hounds from bridleways and footpaths going through private farmland or private land without the express written permission of the landowners.

Additional Information

Problems when using bridleways/footpaths to general public & by easy access and trespass to farm animals & wildlife killing cannot be ignored any longer. Ewes in lamb frightened & bunched up as hounds pile through hedges etc making holes to land they are not permitted to be on. People on hunts may trespass, disturb badger setts, their dogs possibly spreading TB from farm to farm (often seen drinking in cattle troughs) Neospora, tapeworm & more from faeces can all cause abortion/livestock problems.
