Petition Details

To provide access to free sign language & makaton courses for parents & for settings like nursery & schools with non verbal neurodivergent children to be able to communicate their needs.

Additional Information

Require local authorities to abolish the 11 plus & integrate funding into mainstream education support, specifically the Government’s goal of providing core support for SEND within mainstream settings, ensuring more children can access multi-disciplinary services without needing lengthy statutory assessments. The government funding that we think is wasted on the 11 plus system can be used for other parts of the education system.
