Ban the use of AI in job recruitment processes
We ask the Government to enact a law which bans the use of artificial intelligence tools in job recruitment processes.
We believe we are currently suffering through one of the worst rates of youth unemployment in a decade, and that much of this has been driven by AI recruitment, which can facilitate mass applications to positions.
Many young people simply don’t hear back from recruiters and cannot access employment on the basis of the criteria produced by these tools. Many graduates in particular are facing an increasingly desperate situation and we believe safeguards are needed now.
If you want to sign this petition (as opposed to merely discuss it), you need to do that on the government's e-Petitions website.
