Review NHS prescription exemption rules for lifelong neurological conditions

Petition Details

We call on the UK Government to review and update the NHS medical exemption list to include lifelong neurological conditions requiring continuous medication, including Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Additional Information

We call on the Government to review and update the NHS prescription medical exemption list to include lifelong neurological conditions requiring continuous medication, including Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The current list has not been meaningfully reviewed for decades and does not reflect modern understanding of chronic neurological illness, placing ongoing financial burden on those with permanent conditions in England.
