Make it illegal for people to park in child & parent bays without a child
We would like the government to create a badge system for parent and children bays the same as it’s done with the disability badges. Which enforces a fine if people don’t comply
With their not being many spaces available to accommodate this in public & private car parks we feel it’s not right that anyone without children or in a lot of cases older people with a disability badge feel entitled to use these. The purpose of these spaces is to create a safe environment for parents with young children to get their children out of the car seat and into a pram especially when car parks are busy and tight, with not much space around.
