Include Slough in the London Oyster fare zone
Despite direct Elizabeth Line links and strong ties to London, Slough remains outside Oyster zones, creating unfair travel costs. We urge the Government to review fare boundaries and work with TfL to include Slough, supporting commuters, local growth and regional connectivity
Despite direct Elizabeth Line access and close ties to London, Slough remains outside Oyster zones, making travel much more expensive for commuters. At a time of rising living costs, this creates an unfair divide compared with nearby areas. Extending fare zones would improve affordability, support workers and businesses, and encourage public transport use.
