Hold an immediate parliamentary vote on US use of UK bases
We call on the Government to hold a parliamentary vote on the decision to grant the United States permission to use British military bases for strikes on Iranian missile sites.
On 1 March 2026, the Prime Minister announced via video statement that the Government had agreed to a US request to use British military bases for strikes on Iranian missile sites, as part of the ongoing conflict involving the US, Israel, and Iran.
We believe that the demonstrated and materialised risk of retaliatory action against British and associated sovereign territories, as evidenced by the drone strike on RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, underlines the need for parliamentary debate on this decision.
If you want to sign this petition (as opposed to merely discuss it), you need to do that on the government's e-Petitions website.
