Commit to non-intervention in the conflict in Iran

Petition Details

Do not allow the US or Israel to use UK military bases to carry out strikes on Iran and commit to non-interference in the conflict other than as a mediator. Pledge to not follow the US into what will be another unpopular and horrific conflict in the middle east, where there is no justification.

Additional Information

The conflict in the middle east was started by the US and Israel launching strikes on Iran, which has led to retaliatory strikes across the middle east. The UK should not be dragged into another pointless war that does not concern us and that will inevitably create a refugee crisis like Iraq war.
Backing the US risks the lives of British citizens in the region and of retaliation on the UK. The US and Israel does not have the justification to carry out strikes on Iran and we should not intervene.
