Teach LGBTQ+ Awareness to Make Coming Out Safer at School
Many LGBTQ+ and trans students feel scared to come out at school due to bullying, misunderstanding, or lack of support. Teaching proper LGBTQ+ education would reduce stigma and create a safer environment where students feel comfortable being themselves.
The Government has a duty to protect young people and ensure equal access to education. Many LGBTQ+ and trans students face discrimination and feel unsafe coming out at school. Clear national guidance on inclusive education would help reduce bullying, improve mental wellbeing, and ensure all schools provide a supportive environment for every student.
