Petition Action

Provide funding to British families equal to support for failed asylum seekers

Petition Details

For every payment made to a failed asylum seeker as part of the Home Office's pilot scheme, the same payment should be made to a British family to be used for a deposit on a home in the UK.

Additional Information

We feel there are too many british people that are held ransom to an extortionate private rental market or on 10-20yr+ waiting lists for a council house. We think the government should provide additional funding to british citizens that matches financial support for failed asylum seekers.
