Petition Details

Create a national safeguarding regulator that would oversee a single national safeguarding register, standardise training, reporting & accountability across all sectors & ensure no safeguarding concern can fall between agencies again. No more preventable tragedies.

Additional Information

We call on the UK Government to establish a national safeguarding standards regulator to set and regulate safeguarding standards across all sectors, maintain a national safeguarding register, accredit safeguarding training, and act as the final step in the safeguarding complaints process to ensure consistent national accountability.
