Increase defence spending into armed forces
An increased need to put more money into defence such as our Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force due to the decline of military availability (like the decrease in warships available). This could be made an option by decreasing spending into welfare, especially the money going to asylum seekers.
The rising conflicts around the world, such as Russia and Ukraine, and now the war with Iran, the UK has already seen a delay in response (delayed sending of HMS Dragon) to help our bases and allies in the middle east that have been struck by drones and missiles. We have a limited number of warships available in the event of a large scale war with a country, with a significant decrease from other years, which shows the decrease in support for our defence. e.g 2002 with 60+ warships.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government has already announced increases in spending on defence. We are therefore not clear what action you are seeking which is different to what is already taking place.
You could start a new petition setting out in what way you would like the Government's plans to be different.
