Reinstate Rebated Red Diesel For Construction, Mining and Logistics Industries

Petition Details

From the 1st April 2022, the Government removed the 'Red Diesel Rebate' for the Construction, Mining and Logistics Industries. This has had a massive impact on the cost of production and logistics of products across the country. This rebate needs to be introduced with immediate effect.

Additional Information

The current Crisis in the Middle-East is having a detrimental effect on the cost of Energy and Fuel. We think the reintroduction of the use of Red Diesel for the industries it was removed from back in April 2022, will have a positive impact on these industries being able to sustain production and continue to supply demand.
