Petition Action

Prioritize UK Energy Independence: Redirect oil-security spending to renewables.

Petition Details

Reallocate the billions of pounds currently spent on military and diplomatic efforts to secure fossil fuel supplies, and instead invest the funds into domestic renewable energy. Ideally to achieve clean energy self-sufficiency to permanently the UK's exposure to volatile global fossil fuel markets.

Additional Information

The UK spends billions protecting overseas oil lines, leaving our economy vulnerable to global conflict. We must redirect this ‘security’ spending into homegrown renewables to:

Lower Bills: Ending reliance on expensive, volatile imports.

Boost Security: Removing the tactical need for energy-driven conflict.

Create Jobs: Fueling a green industrial revolution in our own communities.

True security is built at home, not in foreign oil fields.
