Scrap the Visa brakes for nationals of Afghanistan, Cameroon, Myanmar and Sudan
Reconsider the visa brake that's imposed on the 26th of March, students that have a future are restricted because their visa will terminate due to predjudice to their nationality
Universities will lose money because less international students will be able to enrol. International students have a significant economic and academic contribution to Universities. Residents lose the right to work making them vunerable to deportation. The fraction of these countries who are asylum seekers are very small so its inefficient to target these four countries. Myanmar and Cameroon not being in top nationalties list less than 1% with asylum claims, afghanistan with 6% and Sudan 8%.
