Meningitis B vaccine for all university students, roll out to students in Yr13
Roll out a vaccination programe for all university students to get offered the Meningitis B vaccination. Once the priority of current university students have received the vaccine, start a yearly roll out to all schools to offer it to Year 13 pupils prior to them going off to university.
Meningitis B should not just be an infant concern: it is very much out there in the greater community, especially among the University student population. To create herd Immunity, those entering society from groups prone to Meningitis B, ie school leavers and University students, need to be given the vaccine. Meningitis B is a prevelant killer disease in society; knowing this, the Government is willing to endanger the lives of young adults because of cost, when it should be protecting them
