Reduce fuel duty tax to at least half of the current rates
Reduce fuel duty by at least half to ease burden on the British people.
We are currently in an energy crisis. With the war in Iran prices have gone up again. The government does not know how long this increase will last, as admitted by the government. We are in a cost of living crisis. As admitted by the government. A lot of fuel is used to get to and from work or education. This is a tax on working and studying citizens. Reducing this will lower cost of living. It would also decrease costs for supermarkets, which we think would pass on savings to households.
If you want to sign this petition (as opposed to merely discuss it), you need to do that on the government's e-Petitions website.
