Letting Children use the toilet in schools when they need too without a pass.
Children in school settings are being refused to use the toilet during lessons unless they have a toilet pass which can be provided, but only with a GP letter. Children should be safeguarded legislatively to have access to toilets when needed.
I would like the Government to ensure every child should be allowed access to the toilet at any given time, not just at lunch and break time. Some children are neurodiverse and do not understand why they need to use the toilet at scheduled times especially when it is not needed.
There are young girls having periods and having accidents, but these do not always fall in the times of break and lunch. Access to toilet facilities for children in schools needs to be protected in legislation.
