Petition Action

Introduce new offence for murder, dismemberment and concealment

Petition Details

There is currently no specific crime for a murder where the perpetrator has also dismembered and concealed the body. We think such an offence should be introduced with a mandatory life sentence with a minimum tariff of 40 years before eligible for parole. This should be known as Chantel’s Law.
