Offer the Meningitis B vaccine for those born before the 2015 rollout
Offer the Men B vaccine to all born after 2015, with focus on teenagers, children and university students, to reduce preventable deaths and life changing complications. Our young people's lives matter.
The current outbreak is the red flag this government should act on. Now!
Meningitis B is a serious and deadly disease affecting primarily children, teenagers, and young adults. No young person born prior to 2015 is protected through the NHS. It was deemed vital, to be added to the vaccination programme, yet an entire generation of young people have been neglected.
The Government can prevent avoidable deaths and life‑altering outcomes. Extend the vaccine to all born after 2015 ensure young people entering secondary, college, and university are not at risk.
