Abandon the Chagos deal

Petition Details

We call for the Chagos deal to be scrapped in its entirety, and for the United Kingdom to retain its current sovereignty over that territory.

Additional Information

We are concerned about the loss of British territory, and the possible international influence over the area if sovereignty was transferred to Mauritius. In our view, the British people, including the Chagossian people, were not consulted in any of this, and we think the cost of this deal is far too high.
