Create a more diverse national curriculum.
We want to transition the current core subjects to add more creative and humanities based subjects. Additionally less focus on exams and reintroducing controlled assessments and coursework.
The current national curriculums core subject is too narrow, focusing only on academic subjects like English and maths instead of developing core skills. Adding a humanity and art creates a more well rounded student and allows them to learn about the world around them. Exam based courses only caters for students who can perform well under pressure. Having controlled assessments and coursework allows students who don't succeed in exams to show their knowledge and skills.
