Capitalise on more North Sea Oil and Gas licensing to boost our economic growth.
Promote more North Sea exploration to reduce energy supply reliance on other countries. Reduce red tape and demonstrate leadership at this time of need.
We need to build up sufficient supplies and reserves of oil and gas. We should not be too dependent on our energy needs being resourced from other countries such as LPG from far off places. Our military strength has been depleted over the years. Increased national wealth from the North Sea should ideally enable greater investment in our armed forces as well as NHS and other worthy causes. Also greater investment could be made in energy saving developments using tax income.
