Petition Details

Only bread and flour are available on prescription for people with coeliac disease in England. I would like this to be changed as gluten free foods are very expensive.

Additional Information

I am a single parent and struggle to pay for gluten free foods for my family. Prices of gluten free foods are very expensive. More items on prescription or an amount to spend on gluten free food would support many across England who have this auto immune disease. This is a disease that is with you for life and there is not a cure for it. Not adhering to the strict diet for coeliac disease can make an individual very poorly.
