Increase the pence per mile from 0.45p for enployees and sole traders

Petition Details

The 0.45 per mile (45p) rate is the UK HMRC approved rate for employees or sole traders using personal cars/vans for business travel,It is designed to cover fuel, maintenance, and depreciation, and is tax-free. This rate in today’s money does not even cover the fuel alone never mind anything else

Additional Information

Today the price of fuel has increased dramatically as well as the cost of maintenance and taxation, so I want the government to
Look at this because it’s not changed in 14 years in which time fuel price has increased over 30% this needs to change and quickly as it’s not fair
