Fund direct routes into employment for prisoners after release in order to reduce reoffending rates and increase national cohesion. The introduction of job-related facilities in prisons with partnered businesses could lead to direct employment routes for prisoners upon release.

Additional Information

A larger workforce can support economic growth. Research shows that a lack of employment has been a leading factor for higher reoffending rates; decreasing community cohesion. Introducing these direct routes into employment could increase the active workforce and community cohesion, which can work to break social constructs.
