Force the Prime Minister to answer questions properly at PMQs
Parliament should require the Speaker to step in when the Prime Minister dodges questions at PMQs. MPs should get proper answers, not spin, rehearsed attacks or total deflection. PMQs must become real scrutiny again, not a weekly PR exercise.
People are sick of watching serious questions met with spin, deflection and evasions. PMQs is supposed to hold the Prime Minister to account, not give them a stage to avoid scrutiny. If the Speaker does not enforce standards, Parliament looks weak and the public loses even more trust in politics, We don't find it as funny as they seem to do.
