Ban music venues from stopping solo people visiting

Petition Details

I want the government to stop venues refusing entry purely based on the person being alone. I recently visited Manchester to attend a gig and several venues refused entry due to being on my own.

Additional Information

I think this is discrimination at its finest. People on their own are no different to the next person going into a venue. Being solo or in a group shouldn’t matter. It shouldn’t be allowed that solo visitors are refused entry purely based on the fact they're on their own.

I chose to go out on my own. I feel like I have been victimised on the basis of being solo.
