Banning anonymous job adverts
Approximately 90% of job adverts on the internet are anonymous these days, making it difficult for job-seekers to take an informed decision whether it is appropriate to apply or not.
It also makes it very difficult to complain to the hiring company if your application is being handled by a recruiting agent and you are not happy with the service that you receive from them.
I would like the government to debate the desirability of passing laws that ensured that basic information (ie the name of the hiring company, the location of the role and the salary bracket) was made available to job-seekers as a matter of course.
