Remove Fuel Duty
The government should remove the 52.95 pence tax on petrol, diesel, biodiesel, and bioethanol to reduce pressure on households and businesses.
Fuel excise duty should be removed to ease the financial burden on households and businesses facing rising living costs. Lower fuel prices would support economic activity, reduce transport expenses, and improve affordability, especially for those who rely on vehicles daily for work and essential travel.
