Reverse the April 2026 increase in visa fees

Petition Details

The Home Office must reverse the April 2026 visa fee increases for immigration & nationality applications. We believe there is no financial necessity to raise these prices. These changes, along with the Immigration Health Surcharge, result in an increasingly hefty price to pay for visa applications.

Additional Information

We feel that application fees should be a procedural step and should not be seen as a covert method to curb immigration. The visa fees transparency data reveals that the current application fees are more than sufficient to cover the administrative costs. The Home Office should not be imposing a hefty increase on fees in what could be seen as an attempt to restrict or extort applicants from poorer countries.
