Increase speed limits for vans on A roads in line with cars

Van drivers are the backbone of thousands of UK businesses and many run to time sensitive deadlines.
Travelling 50 miles at 60mph instead of 70mph on a dual A road adds just over 7 minutes to your journey. Over an eight hour day this can amount to almost an hour.

Additional Information

Many dual A roads can be the same as dual motorway roads. In my experience, speed restrictions to vans can be a make or break if times are not met. I understand that safety is paramount but at what cost to the economy and people’s livelihood.
