Make salary disclosure in job adverts a legal requirement.
To ensure pay transparency, we want Parliament to require employers to list salaries in all job ads. This will help job seekers make informed decisions, reduce wage gaps, and promote fairer hiring practices.
As an HR professional, I believe salary transparency fosters a fairer job market. Requiring employers to list pay helps jobseekers, including neurodiverse individuals, avoid unnecessary hurdles. This reduces wage gaps and ensures employers respect candidates’ time. It’s a basic employment right that promotes equity and fairness for all.
