Stop sexualisation in video games for under 18s
Revise the PEGI ratings to also include "sexualisation" as a symbol for game ratings.
Research shows negative impact of sexualised characters in the media, particularly video games. Negative effects include violence against women, sexism, self objectification and negative self image (Karsay K, Knoll J, Matthes J. Sexualizing Media Use and Self-Objectification: A Meta-Analysis.
