Increase minimum wage to £15 per hour

Petition Details

Due to the current crisis as well as the rapid rate of inflation, we believe it is necessary for the standard minimum wage for those who are 18 and over to be brought up to a liveable £15 per hour.

Additional Information

We want young adults and those suffering from the brink of poverty to be able to acclimatise better to the growing financial difficulties. We think raising the minimum wage to £15/hour allows for those who can work to assist the country as a whole. In our view it can improve the aspect of fundamental tasks of life which ensures an enhanced quality of living amongst the population.
