Petition Details

Review guidance recommending 2 scans to confirm miscarriage. 2 scans a week apart should not be needed if the pregnancy has stopped more than 4 weeks ago.

Additional Information

We think a second scan shouldn't be necessary when the pregnancy has stopped so long ago. This may prolong the couple's trauma and pain, not allowing them to grieve their loss.
