If benefits received are over the tax threshold tax should be paid
Make benefits taxable were applicable
Working people like myself, who often find themselves on the edge of financial stability, have always abided by a system where earned income above a certain threshold is taxed appropriately. This is a fundamental aspect of our tax system that ensures fairness and equity among all citizens. However, a glaring discrepancy exists in the way our tax laws are structured, allowing benefit recipients to receive amounts exceeding the tax threshold without contributing back to the system.
