Cut petrol and diesel prices by removing fuel duty and reducing VAT to 5%
We want the Government to take action to reduce the cost of petrol and diesel by removing fuel duty and reducing VAT on these fuels to 5%.
We are asking for:
The removal of fuel duty on petrol and diesel
A reduction of VAT on petrol and diesel to 5%
We are asking for this because fuel costs in the UK are high and continue to place pressure on households, commuters, and businesses.
Petrol and diesel are essential for transport and the movement of goods. High fuel prices increase the cost of living and contribute to higher prices for everyday goods and services.
Reducing fuel duty and lowering VAT on petrol and diesel to 5% would help make transport more affordable, support businesses, and ease cost of living pressures across the country.
