Petition Action

Make it mandatory by law to give interview outcome to all candidates.

Petition Details

Make it a legal requirement for employers to provide an outcome to any candidate who has attended at least one formal interview, in person or online, within a defined timeframe, such as 14 days, excluding informal recruiter conversations.

Additional Information

Candidates invest significant time preparing for and attending job interviews, often alongside work or personal commitments often including preparing presentations and assessments. Regardless of career stage, it is only fair they are informed of the outcome. Failing to do so creates unnecessary uncertainty and can be discouraging undermining confidence in recruitment processes.
