Allow property owners to prohibit alcohol deliveries to their address
Give property owners the legal right to block alcohol deliveries to their address, and require retailers and delivery companies to check and respect an address-level opt-out register before completing any alcohol delivery.
Couriers do not always verify ID and may leave alcohol unattended, making it easier for children to access it. Bulk delivery also increases access in cases of alcohol misuse. Allowing address-level opt-outs would support harm reduction and give owners more control over deliveries.
