Charge a fee to vehicles commuting through Richmond Park
There is an increasing problem of commuting traffic through the park and a small toll or fee would help to ease congestion, improve safety and encourage considerate usage. This would exclude vehicles who are parking there to visit the park.
Richmond Park is one of the largest and most natural spaces in London and has become increasingly congested with vehicles who use it as a through road during their commute. This traffic makes the park feel increasingly less safe and accessible for recreational use while also causing significant pollution. I believe a toll fee would encourage considerate usage but this should exclude people parking there to enjoy the park itself.
