Televise a National Emergency Briefing on the dangers of Climate Change
I want the Government to produce a National Emergency Briefing that clearly identifies the dangers our Country and communities face from Climate Change. The briefing needs to contain the latest scientific evidence to cut through the widespread misinformation and be broadcast on all UK TV Channels
The effects of Climate Change are becoming increasingly apparent, from wild fires, floods, temperature extremes & violent storms. The National Emergency Briefing held in Westminster Hall in November 2025 saw well qualified experts from finance, biodiversity, climate change, Earth systems, sustainability, food security, health & national security set out the evidence on the crisis we face. This evidence is overwhelming & we need the Government to ramp up its response to match that of World War 2.
