Suspend Motability Drive Smart App - Full Debate restrictive issues & evidence
Request Motability provide evidence of pilot scheme. How app is meant to work. Address restrictions ie 5 journeys,stopping every hour, driving over 100 miles.
Concerns around how our data is used & GDPR implications, inc ourselves and our employees.
Wider evidence on the financial implications of restrictions on the NHS, Education and those who need to to get to work around UK.
Why it Tracks users continuously, even when not in the vehicle.
Reports everyday movements like shopping or work.
Constant threat of losing car - not being able to travel freely as the scheme was set up to do.
Everyday journeys such as visiting family, attending appointments, or working, could be penalised impacting social mobility.
